Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer – Foot Mobile £50K Starting Salary
Location: Zones 1 & 2, London
Salary: £50,000 starting, with potential to increase to £51,000-£52,000 after 3 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexibility available for earlier starts)

About the Role:
We’re seeking a Fully Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to join a prestigious client, at London’s largest workspace provider with 62 sites. This role is part of a highly skilled team of 30 engineers, with only three currently specialising in air conditioning. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a variety of commercial properties, ranging from tenant offices to fully managed buildings.
This position is ideal for a seasoned AC engineer fed up with driving around London and is ready to tackle a mix of responsibilities, from first-response issues to minor repairs. The line manager is an ex-A/C chiller engineer, that brings a deep understanding of the field, so your expertise will be valued but is always there for technical back up..
Key Responsibilities:
- First-response to issues with split AC systems, VRF systems, and basic chiller troubleshooting (partnering with external contractors when required).
- Perform minor repairs and regular maintenance on AC systems.
- Address issues involving fan coil and chilled water systems, including actuators.
- Conduct in-house pressure leak testing with newly acquired equipment.
- Maintain compliance with ODS regulations and ensure high standards of workmanship.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Air Conditioning Engineer with relevant Level 2 and/or 3 certifications.
- Must hold current F-Gas certification.
- Strong understanding of wet systems, fan coils, and chilled water systems.
- Hands-on experience with split AC, VRF systems, and chiller first-response issues.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and proactive attitude to work.
