Multi-Skilled Engineer
(Mechanically Biased – Plumbing)
Location: Goring-on-Sea
Salary: Up to £39,000 + Call-Out Allowance
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Call-Out: 1 in 3 rota
Job Type: Permanent
PRS are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanically Biased) with strong plumbing skills to join our clients team, providing first-class building services maintenance at a commercial site in Goring-on-Sea.
Multi-skilled Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, including plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair issues with pumps, valves, water systems, and drainage
- Assist with basic electrical and fabric maintenance as required
- Conduct general building services maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the site
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Participate in a 1 in 3 call-out rota for out-of-hours emergencies
Multi-skilled Engineer Requirements:
- Mechanical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds) or equivalent experience
- CSCS card
- Experience in commercial building services maintenance
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and Mechanical systems
- Basic electrical and fabric maintenance skills beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence (preferred for call-outs)
