Head Chef Wanted – Full Time | Residential School | Godalming, Surrey
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
Full-Time | Permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at a respected residential school in Godalming, Surrey. This is a full-time position offering a fantastic work-life balance in a supportive and rewarding environment.
About the Role:
As Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals to students and staff. You’ll manage a dedicated team, plan menus tailored to dietary needs, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume setting
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food and nutrition
- Ability to manage budgets and stock efficiently
- Enhanced DBS is highly desirable (can be completed by the client if not currently held)
- Experience within an educational or residential setting is a plus
