Lead Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

£42 – £45,000 per annum
We are recruiting for lead engineer to cover PPM and reactive maintenance, and manage a small on site maintenance team on a prestigious facility in the Derbyshire area area. This role is a permanent position working Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with the requirement to join an on call rota so a driving licence is required.
The lead engineer will be responsible for:
- Carry out hands on ppm and reactive maintenance on electrical and building services plant when required.
- Must also be prepared to carry out fabric maintenance such as painting, basic plumbing, basic carpentry etc.
- Supervision of specialist sub-contractors when working on site.
- Review contractor RAMS and issue permits to work.
- Ensure site compliance from both a contractual/KPI and a H&S perspective.
- Provide technical advice and inspect works once carried out.
The ideal candidate will hold electrical qualifications (City and Guilds or NVQ), and a driving licence, as well as have previous experience in a similar role.
