Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary – Up to £37,000
Hours – Mon – Fri (40 Hours A Week)
Location – Cardiff
 
We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our client’s mobile facilities team in providing PPM and reactive maintenance across sites in the Cardiff area.
 
Follow the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule-

• Working as part of the team to deliver effectively on time & within budget.
• Maintain the electrical building services, plant rooms, emergency systems, lighting etc.
• Be proactive, use your initiative and take ownership of situations.
• Proactively anticipate potential safety hazards and be prepared to undertake any emergency actions required.
• Adhere to daily & weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of sites, keeping up to date & accurate records.
• Ensure all work carried out is done so within the H&S requirements.
• Work as part of the wider team, demonstrating a professional & courteous manner to members, assisting with queries they may have.
• Inducting subcontractors, reviewing rams and assisting where possible.
• Working with the team and reporting back to the client. 

 
What We’re Looking For –

• Qualified electrical engineer Level 3 with 18th edition.
• Relevant technical experience in a working environment and maintenance background.
• Ability to use internal IT systems and communicate effectively using (Microsoft 365).
• Ability to work from instruction and make decisions as needed with minimal supervision.
• Friendly & approachable nature with great communication skills.
• Valid driving license.
