A CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) Project Manager in a datacentre setting oversees the planning, execution, and completion of the civil, structural, and architectural aspects of a datacentre project. This includes managing the project schedule, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the project is within budget and meets quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage the CSA project schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors involved in CSA works.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs related to CSA works.
- Quality Control: Ensure CSA work meets project requirements and industry standards.
- Client Communication: Maintain communication with the client, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and other project managers.
- Documentation: Manage project documentation, including O&M manuals, punch lists, and safety files.
- Closeout: Initiate and manage the project closeout process, ensuring all requirements are met.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural principles and construction techniques.
- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Subcontractor Management: Experience managing and coordinating subcontractors.
- Datacentre Experience: Experience working on datacentre projects, especially large-scale or hyperscale builds.
