I have a NHS client looking to hire a Vehicle Technician to work on their Fleet of Vehicles on a Permananent Basis. Based in the Surrey Area.
A C1 Licence would be preferable but if you dont have one then the trust will pay for one for you.
Duties;
- To service, repair and maintain a diverse fleet of vehicles and specialist ambulance equipment to emergency use standards, using the requisite skills and expertise in line with current Health and Safety legislation.
- The post holder will be able to work without close supervision to the highest standards to achieve acceptable levels of quality on vehicles specifically and distinctly designed for the trust.
- To examine, inspect and report thoroughly on the condition, roadworthiness or safety of any vehicle or equipment, including testing and use of diagnostic techniques.
- To service, maintain, adjust or repair vehicles, equipment or any component using the necessary tools, equipment and facilities in a safe and efficient manner. Including;
- Electrical work
- Welding
- Fabrication
- Hydraulics
- Air-conditioning
- Heaters
The role is a permanent role paying £29,970 to £36,483
